The 2nd Executive Committee meeting was held on 28 September 2024 at BWHC’s Conference room at 11:00 am. Ms. Jahanara Sadeque, the Chairperson of BWHC chaired the meeting. All the members of the Executive Committee except Prof. Dr. Rowshan Ara Begum attended the meeting on time. Prof. Dr. Rowshan Ara Begum is currently residing in USA for which she could not attend the meeting. Along with the Vice-Chairperson Mr. Kazi Ali Reza, the Treasurer Ms. Qumrun Nahar and the other members i.e. Ms. Rayhana Begum, Ms. Munima Sultana and Ms. Maleka Begum joined the meeting. Mr. Sharif Mostafa Helal, the Executive Director & Member Secretary of EC also participated the meeting and updated the board on BWHC’s programs and activities. The main agendas of this meeting were:

1. Condolence to Mst. Fatema Begum and Mst. Mahmuda Begum
   (Mother and Mother-in-law of Sharif Mostafa Helal, the Executive Director, BWHC)
2. Approval of last EC meeting minutes;
3. Updates on decisions of last EC meeting;
4. Updates on existing programs and activities;
5. Annual General Meeting 2024
6. Final settlement of Dr. Julia, Ex-DED, BWHC
7. AoB

a. Establishing further partnership with SIDA, Bangladesh

After thorough agenda-wise discussion, the board gave a few important suggestions and decisions which included visiting of BWHC Saghata Center, organizing Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BWHC by December 2024 etc. A tentative date of next EC meeting has been scheduled in the 2nd week of November 2024.
