The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 was held on 17 February 2024 at the BWHC Head Office Conference room at 11:00 am. The meeting was chaired & facilitated by Ms. Nasimun Ara Huq, the Honorable Chairperson of the BWHC Executive Committee and the general members participated in agenda-wise discussions. Mr. Sharif Mostafa Helal, Executive Director & Member Secretary of the Executive Committee presented the Report of Activities 2023 in front of the members of BWHC Society.

The AGM has been conducted physically and some 15 members among 25 members participated in this AGM 2023.

The AGM approved the decisions, activities, and initiatives taken in 2023 by the Executive Committee particularly, approved the Report of Activities 2023, Audit Report 2022, Annual Budget 2024. After the discussions and decisions, the meeting ended with a vote to the Chairperson.

After the AGM 2023, following the Constitution of BWHC, the General Election (2024 – 2026) conducted. The General Election Schedule of BWHC was announced on the 09 January 2024, and it was on the 17 February 2024 at 12:00 pm at BWHC head office through which the new Executive Committee (2024 – 2026) Members have been elected for the next 03 (three) years.

02 (two) representatives namely, Dr. Md Roushon Jamal, Director Program and Mr.  Ayub Khan, Deputy Director from the Social Service Department, Government of Bangladesh were present in the election process as ‘Observer’.
